A taste of the East!

Taste a whole new world on a culinary cultural journey to the home of a local Uyghur family in Karakol. Traditional Uyghur recipes and techniques combine with seasonal local ingredients for an elaborate array of dishes and flavours, interspersed with the history and legends of the Uyghur people and their experiences as a distinct community in Kyrgyzstan. Those who wish can join in on the cooking fun – learn to prepare gosh non fried meat bread under the tutelage of the master chef / mother of the family.
