Chinese hotpot (known locally as Hogo) is a traditional Dungan dish based on a variety of pre-measured ingredients laid out for diners to cook and eat themselves right at the table in a pot of spiced broth. While waiting for your favorites to cook, learn the intricacies of the Hua Tsa tea ceremony and enjoy with a treat of national pastries. After dinner, visit our cozy family museum with traditional costumes and old props from Dungans’ tradition daily life, including exhibits which are more than a hundred years old. Memorialize the evening with the opportunity to take great pictures in national Dungan costumes as a keepsake, along with a special gift from your host family.
